It's been a while since I saw the film. I enjoyed this and felt that it definitely added a different aspect that the film didn't have. I also happen to know that this is not a straight novelization of the film, rather it was written alongside the film, without an attempt to make it mirror the film, which I think worked well. If you liked the film, this is an interesting way to experience the story that doesn't feel like a rewatch.
