Did not finish book. Stopped at 48%.

DNFed halfway through. The plot is slow to unfold and in general pretty boring. The characters of Violet and Grace are exaggerated and flat, though I did like Cressida. I thought the story was going to be about how they've mended all these wedding dresses for all these brides during the war and they've barely mended one wedding dress by the midpoint of the book. Didn't feel like continuing.
