jen_kehlenbeck 's review for:
A Certain Hunger
by Chelsea G. Summers
A food reviewer and a cannibal, this is exactly the protagonist I want to read from.
Vivid descriptions of food with great commentary on the publishing industry. A rich woman knowing her privilege and living it. Self aware woman complaining about prison, what a vibe. Unhinged but witty.
An interesting look at what makes a female serial killer and how we view killers.
Basically just a woman writing about her career while in prison, kinda gives the same vibes as some of my fave Margaret Atwoods, but about an unhinged woman.
