this started out sooo good and then just kind of plateaued into a very mid miscommunication trope and then dive bombed into a very maddening ending. also i wasn’t completely sold on Finn. he kept saying you won’t open up to me, you won’t trust me, etc. etc. but literally the one singular thing i know about him is that his dad died. that’s literally it. he does not open up either, he very deftly avoids any conversation that turns serious unless he initiates it. and he says she’s the one with control issues lolllll

now im coming back bc i just remembered something and got angry again. YOU NEVER FIND OUT WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON WITH SYBIL. NOT EVEN A HINT. THE ONLY THING THAT DROVE THE PLOT OF THIS BOOK IS NEVER REVEALED. I DO NOT CARE THAT ITS SETTING UP THE ASSUMED SECOND BOOK IN THE SERIES, THATS NOT COOL!!!!!! might drop this down to 1 star i haven’t decided yet
