The Power by Naomi Alderman

4.0

The structure of this book was as quick and interesting as the pace. Characters crossing paths was engrossing. Depicting the rise to power of women and how that power can so readily corrupt and lead to violence was interesting. Although I felt at times it could have been a little more nuanced, rather than power or leadership automatically leading to bad deeds. And because that seemed to be the line followed, I found it harder to buy the "things are complicated" kinda vibe towards the end.
