first i’d like to say this book was recommended to me by a friend who absolutely loved it and gave me all the warnings beforehand. now i know all about greek mythology and the rape that happens there but still their wedding night was… so much. i get it’s a dark romance story but still rape is a lot. and yes there was warnings for it but still i personally cannot see hades doing… 90% of the things she did persephone in this. the author was a great writer but again like i said about the rape. there were a few redeeming moments where persephone took control fit herself. i also was not a fan of how abusive demeter was. that was very extreme
