yeah, I agree that this book doesn’t deserve a rating. I don’t think it even justifies a thorough review. but even so, I want to wholly encourage you all to read the book anyway, if you can stomach it. take breaks where possible, particularly if you have/had a tough childhood of your own-with parent(s) who should’ve been there for you but weren’t.
also CW for moderate descriptions of grooming (I couldn’t add it as a warning within Storygraph’s list of them). it’s never explicitly said within the book, but is easy to piece together if you know the red flags of grooming beforehand.
