Neuromancer by William Gibson

I really tried with this book. Got excited cos it was one of the first Cyberpunk novels out there, I was feeling the Cyberpunk wave, but no. It's an interesting concept, but it's written in such a technical way that even with all the drama and the dystopian rebel showdowns it's still boring. None of the characters are particularly engaging, and unsurprisingly the one female character's a bit pathetic as a person and kinda seems to be there as some negligible love interest for the protagonist and blah blah blah. Managed to make a techno-apocalypse seem bland
