Unnecessarily confusing and in the aim of being poetic Saliba created unrealistic voices for characters. They would say things and think things that seemed very out of place. All in all I got nothing out of this books, there was no real redeeming qualities to give this more then one star. The grammar was bad, the pace was bad, the plotting was bad, the characters were bad, the writing was bad. But I do think that if Saliba had a great editor and this went through five more drafts this could have turned into something.
