Under the Skin: The Hidden Toll of Racism on American Lives and on the Health of Our Nation by Linda Villarosa

5.0

Warning: this book will make you angry.
I will be short: read this book, especially if you're a health care provider. Just listen and search for the research mentioned in this book before dismissing it as "This can't happen here."
If you're not black, but part of other underprivileged groups (based on wealth, gender, or sexual orientation) you will probably realize that your well-being is being similarly weathered in modern western societies.
