Awful! I found myself editing the sentences in my head just trying to get through it. The concepts of the story where beaten over and over without offering anymore explanation than the first time it was brought up. Honestly we get it.... he is a bad boy with a past that is going to come back to him. Get to the point. It was very repetitive. The author had a major aversion to using "I" in any sentence, which was a major distraction. It made the dialog awkward and removed you from the moment because no one would actually speak that way. And the use of 'girl' in the weirdest places vs using she or her, killed everything for me.
