This second book in the American Royals series took the stories in more interesting directions. Less a romance, than a story of young women coming into their own, it was stronger than the first book.
The ending both wrapped the story up and left plenty of room for a third book. If there isn't a third book, I'm satisfied in the conclusion, but I question whether the two books wouldn't have been better edited into one novel.
