Dislocations by Sylvia Molloy

3.0

I appreciated Molloy's originality in form and insight.

I agree with another reviewer who said this might work better shortened and included in a collection of essays or poems. Both M.L. and Molloy share a kinship as members of an Argentine privileged elite, and there are several references to their superior position. For me, like the work of Joan Didion in the Year of Magical Thinking, these reminders brought me outside of a very human experience (dementia) and reminded me of the castes that separate and silo our respective experiences.
