The Joker (2021-) #1 by James Tynion IV

4.0

I really loved the focus of Jim Gordon and his oem battle with the Joker and trauma throughout the years, I think Joker works better in the shadows and this issue really shines through with that.

I am super excited to see where we go with Gordon and Joker and who Cressida is.

"It's either live free or die mad about it"

I think this quote represents Punchline's attitude very well. She will die on her ideology, that saying these ten pages were very short, trying to cover Harper/Blackbird, Cullen, Leslie, and Punchline and so we just get a snippet of all and I'd prefer, none of some and more then others in a condensed issue. This week Punchline in jail, seemed rather purposeless, at these to where I care about the direction, also I wished I'd seen more of Harper and Cullen then just friction between them. Also I wished I knew how old they were, they are you but are they 18 and 16 or us Harper more early twenties and Cullen early college age. I don't know and I feel like that would answer some things.
