Wow! I really, really loved this book, for so many reasons! It's worth saying that based on those I've spoken with as well as the plethora of reviews out there that this book is polarizing. I haven't seen any that are just "hey that was okay, I liked it". They've all been love love love or hate hate hate! Now looking at some of those negative reviews, I can at least understand where they're coming from. There were times that I felt frustrated by the main characters choices and actions, but for the most part I felt as if all of those same choices were accurate. The reason I was frustrated was because I could relate to making the wrong move or not seeing something when it was right in front of my face.

Another thing I have to mention is that I listened to this one as an audio book, all 40+ hours of it. The narrator did a tremendous job with pronunciation, pacing, and overall will to complete this tremendous task. I can honestly say that this book would have probably gotten a 4 stars from me if I had attempted it on my own. I also wonder if some of the negative reviews were, at least partly, due to the lack of familiarity with words/pronunciation and if they were presented with the audio if their minds would be changed at all.

I will be waiting for book two to hit audible rather than reading it, but I cannot wait to jump in!
