when famous broadway actress natalie raines is shot and killed, her husband greg is eventually blamed. beautiful young (of course) prosecutor emily wallace is sure of her case, until something starts nagging at her. oh, and a serial killer lives next door to her. RUH-ROH.
i've been reading MHC since middle school. she's predictable & formulaic but that makes it fun to try to guess the murderer before she throws the twist in. the audio narrator, jan maxwell, did a great job with this one. solid commute fun.
