Mrs. McGinty's Dead by Agatha Christie
4.0

3.5 stars for me. This is the first Christie book I’ve read where her prejudices were not apparent, so that’s good!

Mrs. McGinty is found dead, and her boarder is facing the death penalty, however, Sergeant Spence doesn’t believe he’s guilty, so he calls up Poirot.

We get to meet a lot of town’s people and pry into their past. Who the murderer is all depends on who Mrs. McGinty recognized from an old photo in a newspaper.

Enjoyed.
