Very much a fluff piece. Easy to read and there are really no stakes so u can indulge in a silly love story without worrying too much about the details. The characters very much live in a bubble if there has ever been one (even more a la bridgerton than bridgerton) but alas that is what u sign in when u pick this book. The writing is alright, a bit to tell not show for me but that is ok for what it is. The romance is easy going and predictable but still cute and not toxic(!) which makes it enjoyable enough. My biggest critic is that the mid half of the book is quite boring, nothing mich happens and I wish there had been some more tension or something. This made book drag quite a bit for me tbh. Maybe these sweet sweet romances are just not for me after all.
