Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman

5.0

I absolutely loved seeing the world through Eleanor Oliphant’s perspective. Her commentary on the mundane is direct and unintentionally hilarious, making the reader experience the world from her unique view while also pondering how the world treats people with such awkward (yet honest) interactions. I laughed and I cried as she slowly explored the world outside of her routine and experienced people caring for her for the first time, realizing she deserved something more and something real, and thus overcoming a very troubling past life.
