The Orchardist by Amanda Coplin
3.0
I think I’m moving out of my quiet sprawling novels about heartbroken people era.
I understand the draw of this book for some people. And there was a haunting quality to the writing that I found myself drawn to. But personally, I am not enjoying this type of mournful Midwest saga any longer (i know this took place in the Pacific Northwest, but it had that 1800s Midwest type feel).
