It is damn near eerie the accuracy with which Leigh Bardugo manages to portray and reflect the phenomenon of sainthood. Not only is this a stellar addition to the already brilliant Grishaverse (and a hella pretty book as well) but it also stands a testament to the genius storyteller that Leigh is. To be able to portray with such vividness the nature of the world and how they prey on the gentle, the meek, the kind.. Truly a powerful medium.
