Although I can relate to some of the story points, my general feeling is that this is a story about a rather pathetic drama queen who feels very sorry for himself. I usually don't appreciate stories which end badly, but in this case I didn't mind. Still the structure (a one-sided series of letters, in two parts, which some comments by an 'editor') is excellent. It is well written and it doesn't feel outdated. So I still would say 4 stars.
