This book was outside of my normal but just what I needed.

If you love speculative fiction, mystery/thriller and intertwining of Black history this book will be right up your alley. 

I loved the hoodoo and root magic element to the book but I wish it had a bit more, especially to explain some of the ending. This book had me wanting more the whole way through and I did not want to put it down. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.
