Okay! It took me 500 years to finish this book simply because every time i opened it, i cried. Every time. No exaggeration. Plus I'm a slow reader. Despite that, I have to say that i fell in love with this story from the very first page. I have a soft spot for sister-related stuff, so this warmed and broke my heart at the same time. I have to say it was a slow read at times but this book was written with so much love and tenderness, and I promise it was read with just as much love, tears and joy. Also I have never related to a character as much as I did with Beth, i see so much of myself in her especially when I was younger.
A little spoiler alert here, even though I don't know if you should tag a spoiler for a book written so long ago: but i just have to say that I was so angry at the way you all promoted the Jo-Laurie ship for it not to be a thing?? I was sooo disappointed at first and i could not feel for his such sudden love for Amy, simply because I had these expectations getting into this. But well, it all did tie down well at the end and I'm content.
This is my new all time favorite book and I just wish I read it as a teenager.
