Bella Matthews is becoming a favorite author for me. I need to seriously start working on her back catalog. This is the second book of hers and I’m so impressed. Her writing is beautiful. Even the secret thoughts in this one were beautifully reflective of this story and our characters.
Rhys is seriously perfect. I don’t know if anyone can write a man better. He is charming, kind, passionate, devoted, strong, and SEXY. The mouth on him… oh man! It really was love at first sight for him. Bellamy frequently felt out of place when queendom fell into her lap and this man made sure she belonged from the very beginning.
Bellamy was perfect for Rhys. Someone strong and supportive. She brought a sense of calmness to Rhys’s life and really did make him a better king. Their meet cute was hilariously perfect too. Can you imagine hitting a Prince and future king in the face with a textbook?! LOL
This was a true love story. There is no 3rd act break up or conflict. Just a story of two people falling in love and building a life together. Bella wrote their chemistry and passion beautifully.
I know this series is over, but man do I want an Atticus book!!!
