This is all my personal opinion and I’m mainly writing this for myself so I can tell my irl friends how I feel but in all honesty, this was kind of a pointless book. There was no real story, anytime there felt like there might be conflict, it was all brushed over and/or taken care of off the page. The dialogue was atrocious, the once lovable MMC started coming off as a whiny man child and it ruined it for me. The FMC spoke like she was a sophomore in high school and basically every “problem” they had was solved with sex. I’m a fan of spicy books don’t get me wrong but when it happens every chapter, it becomes redundant and does absolutely nothing for the story. This was a pointless add on to a story that was concluded in the first book and could’ve stayed that way. We had two other couples that were introduced that I would’ve loved to read about (Charlene/Darren and Tash/Lance) but no, you had to bring back the worst couple in the series thus far. If I’m being honest, I don’t thing Alex and violet have actual chemistry, i think they just like having sex with each other and are too scared to admit that so they think it’s love. I’ve never given a book this low but when I’ve read better work from the author, I can’t help but be honest about my feelings.
