"i want to fuck you like a dirty little whore."

★ so teal is the edgy girl in school, and ronan hates her and she hates him too, each with their own reasons for feeling this way. they can't stand each other.

★ ronan and teal meet privately in a very interesting way, leading to their first intimate experience with each other, which turns into them not being able to resist each other (classic rina kent shit). and as they spend more time with each other, they develop a silent understanding before even knowing they share a similar traumatic experience.

★ keep in mind they are supposed to be marrying each other, and it's teal's decision.

♱ teal: teal is our edgy, sassy, takes-no-shit, nerdy kind of heroine. when she was younger she was sexually assaulted by a man—along with her brother, knox—who turned out to be
ronan's uncle.
which happens to be her motive for the reason why she wants to get closer to ronan's family. her mother was literally insane and allowed this to happen constantly. she would always tell teal not to cry, hence why she turned out to be this emotionless freak.

♱ ronan: ronan is a known fuckboy who loves to throw these huge parties and drink a lot, as we saw in the previous books. it turns out there's a reason for this—that reason being due to his childhood trauma that was very similar to teal's.

★ overall thoughts:

it was a pretty good book actually. there was a point i got really bored but i was crying all over my kindle once i reached the last 20%. i loved how the plot and smut balanced out and there was reasoning behind teal's aura, which pmo a lot tbh. but then i understood so! i also didn't expect ronan to be like how he was in this book based on his goofy personality in the last few books like erm!! but i loved it. i loved this entire book sm tbh. it made me feel all the emotions x.
