Surprised I finished this. Writing isn't horrible but it rubbed me the wrong way. Just kinda felt like a fanfic in a bad way? Like the characters were underdeveloped and the first version of the story was lying on readers familiarity to fill in gaps and lay context that we don't get in the book. 

But it was mostly cute and I did think it was a solid romance set up.
