I have no words. Or maybe only the right words.

"I understand you" "I accept this journey"

I don't know if Brandon intended this series to so beautifully and complexly discuss mental health and how it shapes people, but he does it immaculately. It is astonishing that for someone who doesn't suffer from any (or many) of the real mental health issues discussed, that he can portray them with such tact and raw emotion. Obviously the epic fantasy and world building side of this was always going to be a home run with me. I love literally every character, except Moash, and cried anytime anything slightly emotional happened with them. I was so enthralled by how human all of the characters feelings are, largely because of their mental health struggles. But I was taken away with how much the mental health representation stepped up in this and felt extremely relatable.

I think this serves as a great midway point in the series, but kind of a disappointing end for a series that won't get a new installment for many years. I NEED TO KNOW! I was hoping there would be less loose threads so that I wasn't crawling out of my skin waiting for the sequel(s).

I have so many cosmere related questions.

I need my emotional support characters.

This was a transcendent, life-altering experience. I could be alive at any time and I was alive when this book came out. This is the best thing I've ever read. I'm crying, screaming, throwing up, gnawing at the bars of my enclosure. Best book in the series (so far).
