I really want to manipulate my mind into believing this book was really good, but as I’m starting to dig into a surplus of books, I can’t. The storyline is predictable so I didn’t feel compelled to turn to the next page (hence why it took me like 2 weeks to finish). It’s definitely not terrible by any means but it’s not as good as I want it to be. There is only one section that had me eagerly turning to the next page but that only lasted for 3 pages. As for the characters, I enjoyed them but I definitely do think everything felt a bit rushed so I was only able to latch onto a few main characters. The storyline isn’t bad at all but it wasn’t a page turner, it was more of a book that I COULD put down. Again, not a terrible book, I think that if you don’t mind a predictable storyline then this book would be a decent read.
