If Matthew Walker’s purpose was to instigate fear with this book, well done! You did it!

The book takes us on a journey to understand the process of sleep, what causes us to sleep, and the benefits of sleep as well as the consequences of its deprivation which seem
to be detrimental to our well being.

Despite Why We Sleep being written to set forth scientific evidence that supports the importance of sleep, Walker has been able to give us a “light” book with deep information that is easy to read.
