Case Histories by Kate Atkinson

I'm not sure how I feel about this book, entirely.  I enjoyed it from start to finish but it also was kind of a letdown, somehow?  Part of my issue is that I am a bit over mystery books having coincidences that are just too unbelievable (in a city of over 100k people and unconnected story lines separated by 35 years, this group of people keep crossing paths and their stories intertwining all of a sudden just stretches belief to a bit of a breaking point).  Another thing is that the story is mostly told in real time (other than the opening plate-setting stories and people remembering things) but then starts starts jumping forward and back a bit in a way that I didn't love.  And the multiple mysteries are all solved but I'm not entirely sure that any of them were exactly satisfying.  And yet, I generally enjoyed the book...  *shrug*
