The Sun Sister by Lucinda Riley

5.0

The sixth book in the Seven Sisters series, this time we’re  following the journey of Elektra. A famous model, she struggles to trust and connect with those around her, but could the story of her past help her understand more about her present?

Elektra was not massively present in the earlier books and so we went in knowing very little about her other than her seeming contempt for their adoptive father. Yet, as with all of the other books, Lucinda Riley makes you fall in love with each sister so quickly in their own story that what came before almost becomes irrelevant.

Sadly my journey with the Seven Sisters is nearly over - only The Missing Sister and Atlas to go - I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting immersed in each of their stories and I think I could happily reread this series again and again.

The central theme that runs throughout all the books is love, be that self-love, romantic love, friendship love or family love and each sisters journey is so unique. I am equal parts excited and sad to read the next books as I know I’ll love them, but it means I’ve reached the end.
