This story is one of those underrated books. I picked it up after reading the blurb and the prologue, and the prose is simple and at the same time beautiful, that it compelled me to pick it up to buy. This indian author mentions of mental health in tact. The characters try to grapple with it as well, and the characters do act like some people in indian society. Despite all that, it gives such a hopeful ting at the end. I liked it because of the simplicity of the story, and I loved the characters, which were fleshed out, despite having a first-person viewpoint. I feel like I could visit this book, some time in the future.
