Don't Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout

5.0

Now this my friends, is how you write an entertaining thriller.

Getting my hands on this one, I had low expectations because of all the past thrillers I've read that disappointed me. While this was sorta short for me, the plot made up for it. This took me out of my reading slump and for that I am grateful.

What i liked:
1. FINALLY A HOT AND LOVABLE MALE LEAD. CARSON, I LOVE YOU.
2. A sweet main character, although quite dull and tedious sometimes. While Carson would definitely be a character I'd remember, there was nothing too special about Samantha, but she was still nice and sweet and I liked her character development.
3. I liked the relationship she had with her brother, who I loved, a lot. Julie was also really cute and adorable too.
4. There's nothing too special about this book but I love how [a:Jennifer L. Armentrout|4476934|Jennifer L. Armentrout|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1552568126p2/4476934.jpg]'s writing makes up for it. She can write a basic plot but still make it entertaining and fun.

While I predicted the killer almost immediately, I liked how I was still engrossed with all the characters and the plot. Definitely a great work by the author.
