What Do You Say, Dear? by Sesyle Joslin

2.0

This seemed like it would be quirky and funny, but it left me cold. The idea is good, but the illustrations and the language are mostly lackluster. I also don't care for the fact that the boy gets to do all sorts of exciting things, whereas the girl's job basically is to be decorative. I did get a kick out of the Queen's spaghetti extravaganza (including the clever little side gag with the dessert hound).
