Strangers by Dean Koontz

4.0

People across the United States of different ages and from different places are suddenly afraid, but they can't remember why. Is it the sink? The moon? Or something else that seems to be calling to them?
Ginger has worked for a long time to become a doctor, but how can that happen when the fear takes over? Why is Vietnam veteran, Ernie, afraid of the dark? What is Dom trying to escape in his sleep?
I really like the idea of this book, but I had a really hard time getting through it. It wasn't as enrapturing as I thought it was going to be. I also feel like it would have been better if he had focused on fewer characters.
