Baltimore, Vol. 3: A Passing Stranger and Other Stories by Mike Mignola, Christopher Golden, Ben Stenbeck, Dave Stewart

4.0

Much like vol. 1, this volume has its ups and downs. That could be a result of the fact that each story in the volume was collected from different points of publication and are merely shorted, more self contained stories about Lord Baltimore. That being said, it steadily gets better as the stories progress with The Tank being the weakest and either Dr. Leskovar's remedy or The Inquisitor being the strongest visually and storytelling wise. They are the most coherent and make the most of the visual nature of comics. A great collection of stories for sure, just not as consistently good as it could have been.
