A beautifully well-written memoir. I found Ashley really relatable, despite having different life experiences. My one real critique is I wish that she touched on how she reconciled, or is still reconciling, her father’s past with her own. That complexity was one of the drawing points of the book for me, and I was disappointed that it wasn’t explored more.
