It is so nice reading a book about transsexual people, because it is not something that you come across often. I have friends who are gay, lesbian but I never met a person (or that I know) who is trans and I think books such this help to open a conversation and see how they feel.
Of course, I’ll never truly understand what it feels like but I’d like as an ally to LGBT community to understand and be there for them.
The book itself was awesome, a little bit (at some parts) predictable, especially the prom thing, very dramatic and all, but it’s ok.
It was a quick read (I had an exam that’s why it took me three days to finish), but you can read it in a day easily, so if you have time and want to know a little bit of a thought process of this particular character, read.
