A very interesting concept inviting a lot of discussion and possibilities. Was it perfect? No. Some things even a little problematic even, but I can see how the author thought they'd help drive the character's narrative. Many different perspectives and outcomes, which was nice; could have had many more examples, but I understand having to choose and I assume (yes, I know) the author chose the ones most interesting to him. This was my first John Marrs and I will read more, he has good, original ideas and I'm intrigued.
