A great story about making hard choices between what we want to do vs. what we should do in life. Ruben wishes he could get a bike of his own, but his family doesn’t have the money. When he sees a woman at the store drop a dollar, he puts it in his pocket, only to realize later on that it’s actually one hundred dollars. What will he do? This story will definitely stoke classroom discussion, and prompt kids to make their own connections to Ruben’s conundrum.
