Requiem by Lauren Oliver
5.0

This third book was also written in a different style to the two previous books, although it maintained the alternate chapter swapping style of the second book. In this case the chapters swapped between Lena’s POV and Hana’s POV. It was very interesting to see the world, not only from someone else’s POV (especially as that someone is Hana, whose character I really like), but from the POV of someone who has been cured.
I like Hana’s character
Spoilerand almost felt sorry for her when she began to realise that the cure had not worked perfectly for her and that it meant her life was going to be complicated. It was also awful that she was paired with such a horrid man. I was pleased when she started helping Lena’s family and then managed to track down Fred’s previous wife, Cassie, in the Crypts and discover the truth. It was also satisfying that she could think for herself enough to allow Lena to escape and get away herself while Fred was blown up in his house.

I have really enjoyed this series and look forward to reading the four shorts that are written from Alex, Raven, Hana and Lena’s mother’s POV. As a brilliant ending to this trilogy this book receives five stars.
