Well this was just a delight. I finished it in one sitting.
As much as I loved it there was just a tiny lack of depth that, even in middle grade fiction, left me wanting more. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any kid under the age of 10 though!
Al and Mortimer are some of the best characters I've encountered in a while.
