His at Night
by Sherry Thomas
An enjoyable, ah, homage to the Scarlet Pimpernel. A super spy carries his cover persona to the extreme of faking TBI until the woman of his dreams forces him to revaluate his priorities. The absurdity of the premise somehow shifts into a completely plausible commentary on the cages we build for ourselves when we're too afraid to embrace freedom.
