**Tbh this book would be a 1 if it didn’t have another better book after because it literally gave nothing**
So this read like a fanfiction story in terms of the writing was kinda missing details. Like all of a sudden it would jump to a whole different setting without any break stuff like that. 
It did not have to be that extra with the disgusting gruesome-ness of the vere society but I’ve read worse. 

Also read like fanfiction with how easy and fast I ate it up, I immediately had to buy the next book on kindle (I may already be more than 100pgs in) 

Nothing crazy award winning book wise but definitely entertaining I always love court politics and earning trust slowly, give me that slow burn.
