Though many of my favorite booktubers have recommended her works before, this was my first time reading Seraphina Nova Glass. This is a tense mystery, set mostly at a seedy, roadside motel outside Santa Fe, New Mexico. I absolutely love the cover and feel it fits the story well. There are lots of twists and turns, and I was indeed surprised by the big reveals that compose the climax. I was disappointed by a lack of detail in what characters looked like. It was hard to picture them at times. The ending felt a bit schmaltzy, but overall I really enjoyed this, and I would recommend it to most fans of domestic thrillers. Three and a half out of five!
