Fall With Me is the fourth book in the Playing for Keeps series, and it completely won me over with its mix of heart, humor, and healing. After a broken engagement, Lennon Hayes heads off on what was supposed to be her honeymoon alone. A chance meeting with NHL defenseman Jaxon Riley changes everything. What starts as an unexpected connection turns into something much deeper when Lennon returns home to find herself working as the Vancouver Vipers’ team photographer… and Jaxon is one of the players.
The chemistry between Lennon and Jaxon was off the charts, and I adored watching their relationship blossom. From the way they supported each other’s healing to the hilarious cat photoshoots and even the Crocs moments—every little detail made their story feel real and relatable. I especially loved Jaxon’s sweet, thoughtful side (looking out for her allergies? swoon 😍) and how he slowly let his guard down with both Lennon and his teammates.
While I love the boys (and Carter was slightly less annoying here 😆), I did find the girl group’s convos a little too focused on sex at times—I wished for a bit more depth there. But seeing Adam and Rosie again (and Adam’s moments with Lily 🥹) totally melted my heart. This story perfectly captures the beauty of found family, growth, and second chances.
Read this if you love:
🏒 Sports romances
🏒 Slow-burn
🏒 Found family
🏒 Characters that are beautifully flawed but fiercely lovable
Fall With Me was real, raw, and ridiculously sweet—another winner from Becka Mack!
