Short of a new favourite to be honest.
It was a bit too short to my liking, but I truly enjoyed this novella.

Unconventional take on the possession genre, the writing style felt a bit disconnected and disarticulated at times, but it actually made me appreciate it even more.
Like little snippets of Lourdes, Fernanda and their friends' lives, with just enough background from each to care and be intrigued.
If that makes sense.

Heavy on female rage and the feeling of being misunderstood.

Funny how there is a Pauline in this book, where just two days ago, I told you (yes, you, Touki) I'd never read a book with a character named after me lol
