There are books you read and forget and there are books that you read and pieces stick to you like sand on your feet after a visit to the beach. It's been at least 10 years since I last read this book and about 2-3 times a year I get the urge to reread it. Heartbreaking. That's all I know to say about this book. Heart-shattering.
